InnovaConcrete Torricella Peligna Press Conference

On May 15th, the InnovaConcrete project was presented in a press conference held in Torricella Peligna, Italy. The mayor of the town, Carmine Ficca, welcomed the team during their visit to the War Memorial Towers where the Project Coordinator, Maria J. Mosquera, explained the objectives of the project and its importance for the conservation of the European Cultural Heritage of the Twentieth Century.
After Project Coordinator, Rosaria Mencarelli, Superintendent of Chieti, pointed out that InnovaConcrete is a high value scientific project with great implications in the field of restoration, highlighting the importance to involve a Superintendency in a European project of this magnitude.
The event has been closed by Gabriella Di Carlo, researcher at the CNR, and Maria Isabella Pierigè, restorer of the Archaeological Superintendence of Fine Arts and Landscape of Abruzzo – MiBACT, whose explained the unique characteristics of the Italian case studies and the roles of their work teams in this project.
