In April, a Nanotechnology and Construction Seminar was held in the University of Barcelona. The seminar was a session in which experts field provide the attendees with their vision on the current state of development of the field of nanotechnology and its application in construction materials.

Maria J. Mosquera, Coordinator of the InnovaConcrete project, was invited to speak on “Innovative construction materials with hydrophobic, self-cleaning, depollutant, and biocide properties”. Maria gave a short introduction of the project and then further explained the products that are being developed in the project.
