On the 25th and 26th of September 2018, the first InnovaConcrete course for PhD Students was held at University of Cádiz. The course entitled “Simulation approches for building materials” was directed by the Project Coordinator, Maria J. Mosquera, with the participation of the InnovaConcrete partners: Maria Teresa Blanco from the Eduardo Torroja Institute (CSIC), Edward Koenders from the Technical University of Darmstadt, Jorge Dolado from Materials Physics Centre (CSIC) and Janez Perko from Belgian Nuclear Research.

The combination of theoretical multi-modelling approaches and experimental validation for studying cementitious materials was the main target of the course.
