New challenges in the characterization and conservation of cultural heritage assets

InnovaConcrete has been presented at the seminar “New challenges in the characterization and conservation of cultural heritage assets” organized by the Multidisciplinary Technology Platform “Open Heritage: Research and Society” (PTI-PAIS) and the Menéndez y Pelayo International University (UIMP) (http://www.uimp.es/uxxiconsultas/ficheros/0/5078764BN.pdf) in Santander (Spain), from July 2 to 5, 2019.

The objective of the seminar was to show the work of specialists in science heritage, as well as a future vision of this field. Advanced techniques and methodologies of analysis and diagnosis of materials, objects and heritage sites and their state of preservation were presented. In addition, the perspectives offered by the future European Research Infrastructure for Heritage Sciences (E-RIHS) in the study and conservation of heritage and in the training of new researchers were announced.
