InnovaConcrete Madrid Meeting

On the 6th of July, the Spanish partner of the Consortium met in Madrid at the Instituto Torroja.

The main objective of the meeting was to report on the project progress, organize the two spanish workshops and discuss about case study.

In particular, Project Coordinator, Maria J. Mosquera, introduced a new project’s case study: the Kaunas Ninth Fort in Kaunas (Lithuania), a representative monument that highlights the European cultural heritage of the concrete of the 20th Century.

Moreover, Maria Teresa Blanco, WP3 leader, reported about the sampling activities at the Instituto Torroja (watch the video of this activity), Lorenzo Fernández-Ordóñez  explained the results he obtained from the sampling in the Elogio del Horizonte  (watch the video of this activity) and David López from INES Ingenieros explained the non-destructive tests they will carry out during the sampling in Poland in July.
